The Center for Applied Energy Research is seeking to fill a Post-Doctoral position in the Power Generation and Utility Fuels group. This position will participate in laboratory vapor-liquid equilibrium data measurement and analyses. This position is responsible for meticulous laboratory work that includes following Standard Operating Procedures and updating when necessary, taking measurements and recording observations, collecting, compiling, and processing data, maintaining laboratory apparatus and a clean work area and environment. Attention to detail and assurance of data quality are critical. Additionally requirements include contributing to the analysis of test information and data, conferring and collaborating with technicians, scientists and engineers to conduct analyses of research projects and interpreting test results. Results and analyses must be reported and presented on a routine basis. A successful candidate must be continually safety conscious, self-motivated, reliable and have the ability to lift, and climb stairs and ladders.
